Back from Vacation!
Some readers know that my family is connected to Make A Wish Foundation through my oldest son, Jalen. Jalen suffers from type 1 diabetes and Idiopathic Thombocytopenic Purpura (ITP) and was granted a special wish to go to Disney World this month. Our family just returned from that great adventure and I am settling back into a routine with Real Men, Real Dads.
I strive to post new material at least every other day on the site and even through vacation I managed to keep this pace up. Moving forward, I hope to post more frequently than that and really crank out some great new features and material. Please keep reading and be sure to tell a friend!
Thank you all so much for keeping me motivated with this site! I hope I can keep RMRD interesting for you and new readers!
Thank you for viewing Real Men, Real Dads. To support the site is as simple as reading posts, spreading the word, or even clicking on our advertising links on the right hand side. Please enjoy your time here on the blog!

Hey Josh, just checking out your site from a link on my site! You met my kids in Disney World, we were on Amelia’s Make A Wish trip. My son Cameron traded pins with Jalen and then gave you a card sending you to ameliasmakeawish.com. I would love to keep in touch, looks like we have a lot in common with each other, Kids with illness and the love of being fathers. I will check in with you later!

Justin, thank you for swinging by! Your son really made my oldest boys day trading pins at Disney! I subscribed to your daughters Make A Wish blog and I plan to look over your “Catharsis of the Bogue” blog, as well. Seeing as we have similar interests when it comes to our role as a dad, let me know if you ever want to chat or work together!
Sorry for the delay, I was cleaning out my inbox and found your reply! anyhow, I would love to collaborate on something in the future. I currently working on a Stay at Home Dad site, a kind of how to and hopefully community building thing. I will let you know more later, so far I only have a ton of post ideas and podcast ideas and a domain…one of these days…:) Keep up the good work on this blog, it is good reading. I have not got my rear end in gear very well since the vacation ended. Have a great 4th of July!
