His First Day of School
It has happened. My first child has entered the public school system. I am terrified.
We’ve met the school nurse and the teacher. We’ve been to the open house and viewed his classroom. It doesn’t make any of this any easier.
My wife and I have done all that we can to prepare him for this big step forward in his life, and now we will not be the main influence in his life. Other kids will compete with us, using their peer pressure of doom to overcome our super electro ray of parenting power. I’m sure the whole situation would make for one heck of a trading card game, but it’s much more frightening and much less fun in real life!
Do you have words of wisdom for a young father such as myself in this difficult time? Please share!

You can do this. You know what is right and what is wrong. You and Sara have done an amazing job instilling this in your children. Man, you gotta love public school. Although, I had a great time being corrupted on the school bus…..
Thanks for stopping in and taking a look! I have done my best to keep him off of the school bus for that very same reason! hahaha
Thank you so much for linking up to Back to School Traditions. Everyone around me keeps reminding me to pray and ask JDanil about his day. That is what I plan to do.
No problem! I really appreciated the opportunity to get my site out there for more people to read!
