One of my motivations…
This is what I remind myself of as often as possible.
A few years back, I wasn’t in the right place mentally and I realized that I had neglected my beautiful wife. I created this poster on the computer, made it into an 8×10, and framed it for my office. I hope I never neglect her again!
The photo was taken in Monterey, CA, where I was stationed for a few years. The backgrounds lovely, but it’s the foreground I need to be most concerned with!

Thank you. It was about 6 years ago, and we’ve been doing great. I recognize when I’ve been blessed.
Nice of you to share this with the rest of us. This serves as a reminder for me, not to ever take my wife (or children9 for granted. Once again, thanks for sharing.
I am glad you feel encouraged, Rolando. I’m sure that we will always have those moments when we take our family for granted, but we need these reminders to keep us moving in the right direction!
